Volunteer
As a volunteer you ensure the success of our education projects. There are many events that may peak your interest: chapter meetings, fundraising events, and committees.
Chapter Meetings: guest speakers, Ag Issues introduced and discussed
Fundraising Events: Tablesetting Luncheon, Donor Memberships, Memorial Donations
Committees: Scholarship Committee reads and evaluates scholarship awards, Scholarship BBQ Committee celebrates recipients, Table Setting Committee organizes the luncheon, Rotary Read-In Committee reads to elementary kids every 4th Thursday in February
AgVenture: speakers, timers, servers, organizers are always needed. There is a job you will love as you watch 3rd graders learn about agriculture.
AgFest: help organize something special for 4-H, Grange, and FFA exhibitors. We offer breakfast during the week of the AgFest Jr. Livestock Show and Sale.
Fundraise
California Women for Agriculture endeavors to support all aspects of agriculture. We believe in grower choices. We believe in supporting the future of agriculture.
Your support and donations help students learn about agriculture at the collegiate, high school, and elementary school stages of their education.
Our scholarship program benefits two-year and four-year college attendees who study agriculture. This includes plant and animal sciences, agriculture business, and vocational endeavors, like welding and diesel mechanics.
